What would I do without you?

My dearest mom. Sunday was my mother's 53rd Birthday! I wish I could give this woman everything in the world but we all know I don't know any magic so instead my sister & I took here to get her hair cut which she LOVED.

We ate at Corner Bakery then had yummy cupcakes over at Susiecakes which were so delicious I went into another coma... a cupcake coma.

My uncle also had a a lil treat for her

& I continued to be goofy once again

My mothers kind heart also gave me this (yea- she's that sweet she gives gifts on her own birthday)- "Healing Thoughts for Troubled Hearts"

Damn, don't you freak out when your mothers always know when something's wrong?!

If you didn't know I was in a long relationship that ended rather sudden. I haven't seen him in a year but sometimes (recently a lot) the wound hurts pretty gnarly. When I get brave enough I will post my story to get it out but till then...

F%$! this week.

Seriously. I have been having awful days at work, my co-worker isn't talking to me, & I have to return the dress I bought from modcloth -_-. Thank heavens for Saturday & Sunday because those days really lifted my spirits. Went to milk on Saturday with a few friends to enjoy some amazing Blue Velvet Cake. MMMmmMMmm is really all I can say about it since it was so gosh darn delicious, even their regular Red Velvet was bomb (Yes my ass is a fat ass & I got both the blue velvet slice & the mini red velvets). Oops?! (My phone takes the most ugliest pics ::tear:: )

Also had one of these from MILK- ehhhhh, I don't think I'll ever get one again- Oops? 

Let's just say, I've had better for less. It is pretty though right?

Also had a little inspiration to put together a "Modern Snow White" for both Saturday & Sunday. I love Yellow & Blue together- they should think about getting married.

WHAT COULD BE BETTER!? My lovely friend Bre invited me to go play Bingo with her in West Hollywood (Representing all my gays- Hollaaa!!) at burger joint, Hamburger Mary's last Wednesday. I really didn't know what to expect since I've really never played bingo "live" so I said "Hey! Why the f%$^ not?". All you got to do is make a donation- it really is for a good cause (All donations go towards helping homeless animals) Sweet right? And I mean, who doesn't loe a drag queen? Especially as a lovely host ;) Anyway, let me just say that I never EVER win anything so when I won I was definitely surprised! (Let me mention that the winner has to run around in the entire restaurant while everyone throws their loosing bingo papers at you!). AMAZING.

SO what did I win? What was in this awesome kitty bag?

I just wanna start off by saying a B I G Thanky Thanky to the sweet responses about my nephew! It means  MUCHO MUCHO MUCHO!

So the week started off by a surprise in the mail- What was it? Well, recently I've been wanting to "Spice Up" some things with the hair so I thought to myself, "Colleen, go on Etsy. You know you are going to find something." & what do you know... I did :D

Purchase was this mustard yellow headband made by YESSJESS- You can wear this bad boy all sorts of ways!

OLIVER.

Is it possible to have a exciting, exhausted, glorious, jubilant, over whelming, nervous, insane, stunned, warm, encouraged weekend? I can't really explain the feelings I had but those words seem to be a little close. Anyway, I would love to introduce someone really special whom I met over the weekend:

This is baby Oliver, my new nephew. Oliver said hello to the world on April 8, 2011 weighing a total of 7 lbs 12 ounces. 

Not only did I get to met him BUT I actually got the opportunity to see him "travel" haha. Such an amazing experience, one I will never forget. I look forward to watching him grow...

I actually do like colors.

Everyday is like Sunday (Smiths anyone?). I actually got up a decent time, got ready, hung out with my dad then helped BBQd. Is it bad that I think my dad makes the best BBQ grub ever? No way. I swear he has some kind of gift or wizard hands because every time he reunites with the grill BAM! YUMMY. 

Aside from my grill master dad, I got in my tights from We Love Colors. I decided to get Red (since I've seen them look so cute with outfits) & Navy.

This is probably one of the most worst picture showing the color but it was the best I can do.

Saw this dress & was in love with the color & ruffled top:

SOOOOOOO.... I TRIED to find something a little like it: Ehh

I know its not exact BUT the color is dead on in person & it did have a ruffled neck.

I paired it with this lovely grey cardigan I purchased form H&M for $10 bucks! 

The Navy tights actually looked really nice with these colors. So do I recommend We Love Colors? Yes, I do. The are comfy & come in all sorts of HOT colors! What could be better?

HURRY BABY!

So my sisters due date has officially come which means!!!!!!!!!!! There is no baby -_-. Whhhyyyyy???? Apparently she is getting mini contractions & her other babies (aka Cats) have not left her side- one even walked in circles around her. Weird how animals know things right? Now I will wait... in this cloudy weather since "Mr.Sun" decided to sleep in today. CALIFORNIA WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?
